They will tell you to get there early to get the best seats. Well that's a lie.. When you make your reservations, your seats are assigned. The point of getting you there early is to get you you spend your money on pictures, trinkets, clothes, and yes hard liquor. Many people were walking around with hard liquor in there hands the hour and half before the show and the workers were walking around during the show selling more hard liquor. Having parents getting liquored up for 3 to 4 hours, and then driving their kids home is not a great idea. Then were charging us a $3 processing fee per person. Which they apologized and said there were not suppose to do that.br> There are 7 rows. Row 1 Is at ground level and cost an additional $20. Row 2 & 3 cost an additional $10 Row 4-7 Is where you go because you didn't pay and extra money. Don' be fooled, each row is about 6 feet higher than the previous. Therefore row 7 is about 42 feet high and a lot of steps to get there, and further from the action. Your paper crown has a set of colors that tells the employees what section your sitting in. Unfortunately there isn't one sign, and nobody tells you where to form a line for your colored crown. Since there is an obvious set of stairs in the middle of the waiting section, everybody assumes that's the way to get to the arena. Well as everybody is trampling each other, a guy at the beginning of the stairs is making an almost non existent attempt to tell which group to go in which direction. Well you guessed it, the colors on the right had to cross to the left, and the colors on the left had to cross to the right to go there proper entrance to the arena, and the rest went straight. Talk about tempers flaring up and people pushing and shoving because they thought you were trying to cut in front of them. The joke is the seats are pre-assigned, so what's the rush ??? Crown paper hats from previous visits have a $4 discount printed on the inside. Entertainment books offer a $8 coupon. (AAA) New Jersey Automobile Club offers a discount. | Distributed computing is the solving of a large problem by giving small parts (through the internet) of the problem to many personal computers to solve. The solutions the CPU's make are brought back together (through the internet) into a solution for the large problem. Recent distributed computing projects have been designed to use the computers of hundreds of thousands of volunteers all over the world, via the Internet, to look for extra-terrestrial radio signals, to look for prime numbers so large that they have more than ten million digits, and to find more effective drugs to fight the AIDS virus. These projects are so large, and require so much computing power to solve, that they would be impossible for any one computer or person to solve in a reasonable amount of time. To participate, you simply download a very small, no cost, non-invasive software program that works like a screensaver: it runs when your computer isn't being used, and processes research until you need your machine. Your computer never leaves your desk, and the project never interrupts your usual PC use. Seti -- SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. May 28, 2003 Over 4.5 million users have joined SETI@home! http://distributedcomputing.info/projects.html -- Lots of projects list here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Distributed_computing_projects http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Computer_Science/Distributed_Computing/Projects/ -- Many projects www.angelfire.com/theforce/distributedcomputing/home.html -- Many projects If you want to see more sites, do a search on Google, and type in "Distributed Computing Projects" including the quotes.ding the quotes. |
For those children that have not experienced a drive-in theater check out the list below. |
| Becky's Drive-In Theater LeLehigh Township on Rt. 248 Berlinsville, PA ---------- They have different forms of entertainment before the double feature (on weekends), such as Pony Rides and Hot Air Balloon Tether Rides. www.beckysdi.com/main Delsea Drive-In Theater -- The one and ONLY in New Jersey. Vineland, NJ www.delseadrive-in.com Warwick Drive-In Theater Warwick, NY ---- 6 miles East of Vernon. They offer 3 movies playing at the same time on 3 different screens. The sound for each movie is transmitted through a separate radio station, and sounds great when you turn up the volume on your car radio. They offer a double feature for the one admission. If you position your car just right, you could watch all three different movies at the same time, and if each person had their own portable radio and earphones. Bring some chairs and sit in front of your car, great when your with friends and family. www.warwickdrivein.com Last visited on 8-10 Parking: If you have a SUV or truck, you will have to park in the last 3 rows. If you have a SUV or truck in front of you, you will not be able to sit in chairs or on a blanket on the ground, and you will only be able to see the top half of the screen. Even if your sitting on the tailgate or in the trunk you will only be able to see top half of the screen. Now that you are seated, food and drinks on a table, and the dust settled down, you are ready to watch the movie. The movie starts, and the late comers are now looking for a spot to park. As they are raising dust making noise, blinding you with their headlights, blocking your view of the movie, and now you have to physically move your body because the car that's trying to get into the space in front of you doesn't have enough room to back in the space and might run you over. 30 minutes later the cars stop coming, and now you can continue to watch the last 3/4 of the movie, not having a clue what it is about, since you missed the first 1/4. Bathrooms: On movie screen 1, there are 2 bathroom that are appalling, pathetical, moronic, unhealthy, scummy, smelly, putrid, disgusting, extremely small, and smells so bad that everybody had their nose covered with their tee shirt. In New Jersey it's a law that you must have an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There is only one stall that is not large enough to drop you pants without opening the door part of the way. There wasn't any latch on either of the ladies of men's stall door. The floor was gross. Does Warwick have a board of health ??? Conclusion: Having a stall that is smaller than an outhouse is inexcusable and despicable. Having only one stall is just plain Ignorant. Estimate 400 cars with an average of 6 people each. = 2,400 people trying to use the bathroom at least once. | How do you pronounce Geocaching? -- You pronounce it Geo-cashing, like cashing a check. Geocaching is an entertaining high-tech GPS treasure hunt game.. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a GPS unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache. Good information the beginner. -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching Click Here to read all about it, and find locations near you !!! -- www.geocaching.com Geocaching.com no longer lists new caches without a physical object.
