  • And all this time we've just been putting Bounce in the dryer.
  • It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them.
  • It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too often.
  • Repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season.
  • Eliminates static electricity from your television screen. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.
  • Dissolve soap scum from shower doors.
  • Clean with a sheet of Bounce Freshen the air in your home.
  • Place an individual sheet of Bounce in a drawer or hang in the closet.
  • Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a sheet of Bounce before beginning to sew.

Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will magnetically attract all the loose hairs.
  • Eliminate static electricity from venetian blinds Wipe the blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

  • Eliminate odors in dirty laundry. Place an individual sheet of Bounce at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.
  • Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your shoes or sneakers overnight so they will smell better.

How old is the bread your buying?
When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness?
Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week?
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different  color twist tie.
They are:   Monday = Blue,  Tuesday = Green,  Thursday = Red,  Friday = White,  Saturday = Yellow.
So if today was Thursday, you would want the red twist tie - not white which is Friday's (almost a week old)!
The colors go alphabetically by color:  Blue - Green - Red - White - Yellow.

Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not? -
This was passed on by a policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars and techniques for business women.
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror?
(i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them.) There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms.
Just conduct this simple test: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.
However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!

Acoustic Strawbs
Join us as we welcome back the Strawbs as part of their 40th anniversary tour. Unique among early 70’s Progressive Rock bands, this pioneering outfit actually came from a 60’s English Folk background and successfully merged the two genres. The group enjoyed commercial success in the US and UK with songs like “Lay Down”, “Part Of The Union”, and “Down By The Sea”, and has showcased a fine array of British musicians over the years, including keyboardist Rick Wakeman (prior to joining Yes). The Strawbs continue to be led by founder/singer/songwriter Dave Cousins, hailed by the All Music Guide as possibly “the most talented Dylan-influenced songwriter to come out of England”.

Paul Venier
Paul Venier has been called ‘The One Man Comedy Tornado’…. a name he was dubbed by agent Norman LaFoe, back in 1985 after seeing one of his shows, and it was a name that has stuck. After seeing his show live, it is easy to see why! His shows can range anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours in length and they all consist of super high energy, guitar parodies, piano expertise, serious music, props and rapid interplay with his audience, which are very often stunned by his clever quickness. Most amazing though, is the way he continually weaves the crowd throughout the show using his photographic memory. He never forgets a name or the things he has said to them during his show through continuous callbacks. Whether it is a corporate event, a fundraiser, comedy club or private show, Mr. Venier is an act that will be thoroughly enjoyed and remembered for years to come.

Strand Ventures Inc. & Missoula Children's Theater Presents
Pinocchio
Geppetto fashioned the puppet in the image of a small boy.  Even as the lonely and kind woodcarver worked far into the night, old Geppetto was not aware that the wood under the chisel had come from the trunk of an enchanted tree.  But the Blue Fairy was aware, as she watched from afar and gave to that puppet the gift of life.  Thus begins the Missoula Children's Theatre adaptation of one of the most beloved of all children’s stories – PINOCCHIO.  Join our wooden-head as he dances with Geppetto’s charming toys, travels the road to Pleasure Isle with Candlewick and his Crew, and is swindled by the unsavory Fox and Cat.  After escaping the clutches of the evil puppetmaster, Stromboli, Pinocchio finds himself in trouble once more – this time swallowed by a monstrous whale. Very scary stuff! As Geppetto and the friendly Urchins spin their magical tale, we learn with Pinocchio that there are no shortcuts on the road to becoming a real, live boy.
