or take a digital picture of your plaque and email it to us.
 
Remember, If the file size is over 4 MB, It will not be allowed to pass to our mail box. Please put the file on a CD or DVD and send it to us VIA mail.  
Photographs, pictures, cards etc. will be returned with the order.
 

• Lab Printed Photographs (photographic paper) up to 8-1/2” x 14”
• Medium and Large Format Positives (35mm must be scanned at a lab)
• Medium and Large Format Negatives (35mm must be scanned at a lab)
• Digital Images including submissions by:
  • CD or DVD
  • Memory Stick
  • USB “drive sticks”
  • E-mail (file size permitting (Under 4 megabytes)
• Digital images can be almost any graphic file format used on PC’s. (Sorry, we don’t accept Mac/Apple formats other than .Mac on PC formatted media at this time.) These formats include, but aren’t limited to:

Total image quality is a factor of the image size and the dpi (dots per inch) that the digital image is originally shot or scanned at. When submitting lab printed photographs, positives or negatives, we take care of scanning the image and preparing it, however, if you are submitting digital images for engraving, the following guidelines will produce the best results:

Colors vary from computer, monitors, scanners, cameras etc.
Woods, Glass etc. will vary, from vendor to vendor.
All colors shown therefore are approximate.
 

• 12” on the longest side for marble
• 6” on the longest side for LaserTile.
   
• For other engraving media, the image size should be as large as the completed engraved reproduction will be on the item.
   
• Bitmapped images need to be shot or scanned in at minimum of 300 dpi, with 600 dpi being optimal. Higher dpis are acceptable.The original images must be captured at the above settings.  Varying from the above settings may cause undesirable results or barely visible “scan lines” in the final engraving.  Simply changing the dpi settings in a graphics program does not change the quality of the image.
